These Terms and Conditions ("Terms," "Agreement") govern your use of SCRUBLY INC.'s website and booking services.
1.0 Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please refrain from using our website and services.
2.0 Booking Services
Our website provides a platform for booking cleaning services. By booking our services, you agree to the following:
• Provide accurate and complete information about your cleaning needs.
• Pay the agreed-upon fees for the services.
• Comply with our Cancellation and Rescheduling policy (section 4.0).
3.0 Payment
Payment for services is due once the service is complete, unless otherwise agreed upon. We accept payments through major credit cards, specifically Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. A card hold is placed 48 hours in advance of your booking to ensure the payment details entered on the booking are working as expected.
4.0 Cancellation and Rescheduling
You may cancel or reschedule your cleaning appointment by contacting us or via the Customer Portal. By booking our services, you agree to the following:
• If you cancel 12 hours or less before your appointment, you will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the agreed upon booking fee.
• If you cancel after 12:00 PM EST the day before your appointment, you will be charged a $150 cancellation fee.
• There is no penalty for rescheduling your appointment before 12:00 PM EST the day before.
5.0 Service Conditions
By booking a cleaning service with SCRUBLY INC., you acknowledge and agree to the following service conditions:
5.1 Walk-Through Policy
• A pre-cleaning walk-through with our cleaning team is required so you may point out any priority or problem areas.
• A post-cleaning walk-through is also required. Any issues must be identified during this walkthrough. Our team will correct them on the spot.
• Once our team leaves the property, any requested return visit will be treated as a new service call. A minimum return fee of $200 applies.
5.2 Service Limitations – Tasks We Do Not Perform
For safety, liability, and logistical reasons, SCRUBLY INC. does not perform the following tasks:
• Cleaning areas or items higher than 12 ft (including chandeliers, high ledges, full walls, ceilings, etc.)
• Cleaning full walls or entire ceilings
• Removal of pests, feces, bodily fluids, excessive mold, biohazards, chemical waste, or fire/smoke damage
• Exterior cleaning (windows, balconies, patios, garages, etc.)
• Decluttering or organization of personal items, paperwork, toys, or clothing
• Moving heavy furniture, appliances, or fragile/valuable items
• Cleaning under heavy objects that cannot be safely moved
5.3 Safe & Respectful Work Environment
• Our cleaners may decline any task they judge to be unsafe or unreasonable.
• Abusive, threatening, or disrespectful behaviour toward our team will result in immediate termination of service with no refund.
• SCRUBLY INC. reserves the right to refuse service at any time if unsafe conditions are present.
5.4 Temperature and Working Conditions
• The property must be heated or cooled to a safe and reasonable working temperature.
• If conditions are unsuitable, cleaners may leave and the visit will be considered completed.
5.5 Pest Infestation
• We do not clean homes with active pest infestations (e.g., mice, bed bugs, cockroaches, etc.).
• If an infestation is discovered on arrival, the booking will be cancelled and the full service fee will be charged.
5.6 Other Contractors On-Site
• If movers, painters, electricians, or other trades are working in the home at the time of cleaning, our team cannot proceed.
• This will be treated as a same-day cancellation and fees may apply.
5.7 Garbage & Waste Removal
• Our team will bag garbage and place it in your bins or at the designated disposal area on-site.
• Cleaners do not remove garbage from the property or transport it off-site.
5.8 Clutter Requirements
• SCRUBLY INC. is a cleaning service, not an organizing service.
• Excessive clutter may prevent cleaning and can result in cancellation or additional fees.
5.9 Inside Appliances, Cabinets & Drawers
• If you have booked inside-fridge, inside-cupboard, or inside-drawer cleaning, these areas must be emptied before we arrive.
• If not emptied, cleaners will skip the task and no refund will be issued.
5.10 Expected Outcomes
• Cleaning services are performed to render the premises sanitary and reasonably clean for occupancy. Services do not guarantee a new, like-new, or defect-free condition.
• Due to normal wear, age of the property, prior use, or environmental factors, some residual dust, dirt, staining, or imperfections may remain and do not constitute a deficiency in service.
• The determination of service completion and acceptable cleaning standards is made by SCRUBLY INC. in accordance with its internal quality standards, and is not subject to subjective or aesthetic preferences of the client.
5.11 Non-Payment & Chargebacks
Any non-payment, partial payment, or chargeback initiated after services have been rendered constitutes a breach of these Terms and Conditions. In such cases, SCRUBLY INC. reserves the right to pursue recovery through Small Claims Court, including the full value of services provided prior to any discounts, price matching, or goodwill adjustments, together with any applicable fees, costs, or interest.
Failure to comply with these Service Conditions may result in refusal of service, partial completion of service, or additional charges, at SCRUBLY INC.’s sole discretion.
6.0 Refunds
Refunds may be issued at the discretion of our Customer Service Team. Please email hello@scrubly.ca to log a formal complaint. Complaints must be made within 48 hours of the end of your service.
7.0 Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of SCRUBLY INC. and is protected by copyright laws. You may not use, modify, reproduce, or distribute our content without prior written consent.
8.0 Disclaimer of Warranties
Our website and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information on our website or the quality of our services.
9.0 Limitation of Liability
In no event shall SCRUBLY INC. be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of our website or services.
10.0 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold SCRUBLY INC. harmless from any claims, damages, or losses arising out of your use of our website or services or your violation of these Terms.
11.0 SMS Communications & Consent
By providing your mobile phone number and opting in via our website, booking forms, or other communication channels, you consent to receive SMS (text) messages from SCRUBLY INC. (“Scrubly Cleaning”) regarding:
• Service inquiries
• Booking confirmations
• Appointment reminders
• Scheduling updates
• Service-related notifications
• Customer support responses
• Promotional offers (if separately opted in)
Message frequency may vary depending on your interaction with our services.
11.1 Messages & Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply depending on your wireless carrier and plan.
11.2 Opt-Out Instructions
You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying:

11.4 No Third-Party Sharing
SCRUBLY INC. does not sell, rent, or share your phone number or SMS consent with third parties for marketing purposes. SMS consent is not shared with third parties or affiliates except as required for message delivery through our SMS service providers.
11.5 Carrier Disclaimer
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
11.6 Age Restriction
You must be at least 18 years of age to consent to receive SMS communications from SCRUBLY INC.
12.0 Changes to Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of our website or services after any such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Please note the "Effective Date" at the top of this page.
13.0 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
